CAE Tech Talk

cae-tech-talk
https://captechu.zoom.us/j/664120328
  • Presentation #1
    • Topic: IDS performance in constrained environments
    • Time: 1:00pm – 1:50 pm EST
    • Location: https://captechu.zoom.us/j/664120328
    • Presenter(s): Dr. Shelton Wright, The University of Alabama, Huntsville
    • Description: This topic covers the performance of an open-source IDS in constrained hardware environments. Minimal hardware configurations are evaluated to determine the resources needed for the IDS to function properly. This allows for a minimum hardware definition for use in limited resource environments such as embedded systems, SCADA systems, and IoT devices.

  • Presentation #2
    • Topic: Security Protection and Quality Control in Crowdsourcing
    • Time: 2:00pm – 2:50 pm EST
    • Location: https://captechu.zoom.us/j/664120328
    • Presenter(s): Weiping Pei and Dr. Chuan Yue, Colorado School of Mines
    • Description: Crowdsourcing is booming in recent years due to the significant need of labeling data for AI models and applications, but many security and privacy problems correspondingly arise. We are actively researching this important topic and would like to share our latest research results with the CAE community
